Detroit, MI also known as the Motor City have seen some hard times these past years. Detroit just filed Chapter 9 Bankruptcy recently and broke the record for the largest bankruptcy of its kind filed in the United States.
Even in its hard times the City of Detroit shows signs of life, unity, and strength through its citizens. Grammy Award winning Singer Beyonce took time to acknowledge and profess her love for the city that produced musical greats such as Aretha Franklin, Motown Records, Aalyiah, Temptations, The Clark Sisters, The Winans Family, and many many more.
