News: Is Radiation a threat to you!

Japans Nuclear Power Plant Explosion

During the last week small traces of Radiation has shown up in Massachusetts's  rain water, snow, and air. The small amount of Radiation traces can be attributed to

Nuclear Power Plant Meltdown in Fukishima , Japan as a result of the devastating earthquake of March 11th. The low traces of  radioiodine-131 is similar to the Radiation findings in California, Washington State, and Pennsylvania; as of right now the small trace of radiation does not pose a threat to drinking water supplies, health officials have said. The radiation from the nuclear power plant meltdown has traveled a long way and my only fear is that more and more radiation will fill the air and will the American citizens at dangerous health risk.

The small amounts of radiation will most likely be undetectable in a few days, health official say. But just to be on the safe side and to enlighten my readers, here are some of the symptoms associated with Radiation Poisoning.

Radiation attacks every organ and system in the body. In the early stages of Radiation poisoning symptoms are similar to those of the flu... nausea, fever, fatigue, vomiting, headache, and also some skin changes such as itchiness and redness. More long term symptoms are: skin lesions, dramatic hair loss, peeling of skin, and death.

It is important that you keep posted on the devastation that is happening around the world because you never know how it will impact you.
