I know I said that I love JoJo's version of Marvin's room, But I am IN LOVE with Teyana Taylors version. The vocals are amazing on this track and the conflicting inner battle of the heart and mind makes it easy to relate to. We have all had those moments when our heart and mind just can't seem to agree with one another. Let's not forget she gets Sexy Omarion to play her ex love whom she still loves but can't completely trust with her heart. Tell me what you think.

BET Awards: Patty LaBelle Tribute; Gospel Album of the Year: Mary Mary

 

Gladys Knight started the tribute to Patti Labelle off with sharing memories of how the two first met. She said she first realized that Patti could sing when she waiting back stage at the Apollo to perform and Patti was on Stage singing. Gladys had to ask herself "Who is that"? Patty Said "I don't sing too many sad love songs, I am not that girl."

Among Gladys Knight, singers Beyonce and Jill Scott both had some words about Miss Patti. Beyonce went on to say growing up "I wanted to sing like Patti LaBelle." Ceelo green took the stage to sing Somebody Loves You Baby, Marsha Ambrosius sung If only you knew, and Marsha slayed the song. Pastor Shirley Ceaser sung what a friend we have in Jesus in the Tribute to Music Icon Patti LaBelle. 

BET AWARDS: Kelly Rowland



If you missed the BET AWARDS then you missed the ravishing and sexy performance that made many men clinch their fist BY Kelly Rowland. She showed how you could be sexy with your clothes on. Go head Kelly. Kelly was introduced by Trey Songz, who ended with Unusual before introducing miss Kelly Rowland. The two ended the performance with a remixed duet version of Motivation, their finish was more than tempting with the two heading underground, while Trey Songz proceeded to kiss Kelly's neck. It was hawt. Ravishing. Let's not forget Kelly's break down into what we can call a Janet Jackson Tribute. Kelly showed just why she is a star. She show how versatile she is with her vocals and her dance skills. A true superstar on the rise. I am so happy that Kelly is finally receiving the recognition that she deserves.

Her promo is in the lap of the traveling business woman and man, the hands of the girl getting her hair done in the hair salon, and on the coffee table of almost every home. Bey is back and she let Sasha take a break so the King could reign... Go King Bey.

2 Weeks after the Tornado that hit Springfield, MA

Two weeks later and clean up efforts are just in the beginning stages to repair all the damages that were caused by the tornado that hit Springfield, MA on June 1, 2011. It's not everyday, let alone every decade that you'll hear about a tornado touching down in MA let alone any northern states, so many residence are still left in awe. Many residence have not yet begin to pick up and try to put the pieces of their lives back together. When it storms and rains here in MA you can see the fear on the citizens faces as the hopelessly look to the sky to see if they can spot any funnel clouds. The fear is something that many people will have to deal with for a period of time because the Tornado was so traumatizing.

There is no Heat in Miami after Sunday's Loss

Looks like the Heat Wave is finally over in Miami. It's been two days since Dallas put an end to the Heat at their home court in Miami, in 105-95 game. The game seemed to last forever but Dallas was up and controlled the tempo for most of the game. The Mavericks Defense forced multiple turnovers which gave them an advantage over the Heat. The Heat didn't perform that well on the Free-throw line either giving Dallas an even higher advantage. The Heat were not ready and were not playing like a championship team. So Dallas put the fire out and celebrated at the club where Lebron James mother was arrested at. Lol.

KATT WILLIAMS ARRESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So according to TMZ.com Comedian/Actor Katt Williams was arrested yesterday for threatening a witness after Several women that were on the property threw rocks at a Tractor Truck. Katt Williams allegedly would not let the witness leave the property. Katt Williams was said to have block the exit to the property off with his SUV and refused to move. He did not move until the Police Arrived.

The man in the tractor suffered face and bodily damage as a result of the rocks being thrown at him. Katt Williams was charged with Intimidating a witness and bail was set at 50,000 dollars.

It is unknown why the women was throwing rocks and dirt clouds at the Tractor Truck. The driver of the truck is still unsure as to why the women were doing such a thing as well.

Singer Monica and Her 3 Boys

Singer/Songwriter Monica Brown posted a picture of her and her 3 boys on twitter the other day. Monica spent the day with her 3 handsome boys Ramone Hill, Rodney Hill, and little Romelo. Ramone is actually Monica's step-son with her ex fiance Rocko Da Don, but Monica always considers him to be her eldest and on of her own, she is such an amazing woman. Monica took to twitter to tell a fan that Ramone is one of her own. I love that she didn't let a separation tear her apart from the boys. Congrats Monica and we can't wait until #NewLife. Recently we proclaimed Monica to be one of the most Influential and Inspirational people on twitter, Tyrese Gibson was also on that list as well.

Ladies Do you know when its time to let it go?

In today's day and time women do not know when it is time to get out of a relationship. Women tend to hold on through the good, bad, and ugly, even when its just plain bad and ugly. I don't understand why you would stay with someone or in a situation when you are constantly unhappy. Love is not an excuse either, too many time women use the word love to justify why they stay in a bad situation that is only heading south. Truth is if you love someone then let them go. But I have come to the conclusion that most women stay in bad relationships because they are scared to be alone, scared they won't find anything better, or just don't know their self worth. Now I'm going to help you out a little bit and tell you situations that are not worth holding on to.

1. Chronic infidelity: If your man has cheated on you more than once and is a chronic liar... Its time to Let it Go. Let him swim with the other fishes because there is nothing worse than a cheater bringing you home something he caught while testing the waters.

Tornadoes slam Massachusetts

Burlington Coat Factory Plaza - Allen St. Springfield Ma



Springfield, MA If you are one of the many residents of Springfield, MA you were hit very hard by a tornado around 4:30pm. To fully understand the severity of the tornado you would have had to be caught in the storm like I was. It was one of the most mind blowing experiences ever. First came the calm and about 5minutes later all you could see was dirt and debris flying around. Then came the awful wind which destroyed my whole entire neighborhood and many others. Rushing to cover all I could was pray that even if the house was destroyed let me still be standing. After the storm had passed and the tornado bum rushed its way through my housing complex all that was left was a mess to clean.

Beyonce is back again with what seems to be the 3 single of her Upcoming Album Titled "4" called Best Thing I never Had. This song is about avoiding heartbreak, dodging the bullet by not settling for the loser. I can almost say that everyone can relate to that. With these singles just pouring out, I think what the label is doing is releasing many songs from her 72 songs potentials to see which ones the people like the most. Which I would keep this song. It is a lovely song.
